A new local concert series begins April 7 featuring Switch in Time at Topeka Performing Arts Center.
ABOUT THE BAND
Band members are accomplished classic rock musicians who perform some of the great hits of the band Chicago, Santana, Phil Collins and many more.
Switch in Time promises a full concert experience with lights and sound. “These masters of music are bringing their full jam to rock your socks off!” said Joan Wagnon, board member at TPAC. Tickets are $12 plus fees and taxes.
ARTWALK
TPAC will participate in a special First Friday ArtWalk featuring artists from Stephen Smith Gallery. Artists Cindy Manry (Topeka) and Boubakary Konseimbo (Burkino Faso, West Africa) will have work on display, and Cindy Manry will be present to meet and visit about her art journey.
FRIENDS OF TPAC
As a special incentive to join FRIENDS OF TPAC, the Board of Trustees is hosting an exclusive pre-show meet and greet from 6-7p with special guest Rory Kent, Jr., the new executive director of TPAC. Benefits of FRIENDS OF TPAC membership include free admission to three local concerts in 2023: Switch in Time on April 7, Babbs Brothers Blues Band on June 23 and a final concert on September 8 (TBD). Memberships begin at $100 and include regular benefits such as complimentary refreshments before select shows.
General admission to the April 7th concert begins at 7pm where you may view the art exhibition and purchase tickets for the show.
